I’m based in the beautiful western suburbs of Melbourne, but I’m more than happy to travel across Melbourne and Victoria for your session. If you're located interstate, I’m open to traveling there as well upon request. Just keep in mind that travel fees will be added to the final amount.

Once we’ve found the perfect date, a 50% non refundable deposit will secure your spot, with the remaining balance due on the day of our session. Session Information

My approach is all about capturing the genuine, heartfelt moments. I focus on candid photography, avoiding stiff poses and strict directions. My goal is to create timeless images that reflect the real and special moments we share during the session.
My favourite sessions often take place in the comfort of your own home, where everyone, especially where the kids can feel relaxed. We can also explore your neighbourhood, whether it's a charming laneway, a local beach, or one of my favourite outdoor spots at sunset. I have a curated list of beautiful locations with perfect light and atmosphere. If you're staying local, Werribee Mansion is a cherished option, offering endless possibilities like a cozy picnic or playful ball games
I suggest wearing something that makes you feel beautiful and truly reflects your personality. Choosing the perfect outfit is an important part of the session, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. If you need inspiration, I love natural tones like dark green, navy blue, cream, sunburnt orange, soft pinks, soft blues, soft yellows, and white.
Accessibility and inclusion is very important to me. If you have any questions about working with neurodivergent children or individuals with disabilities, please feel free to contact me. I’m here to help ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.
I completely understand the worry that kids might not enjoy being in front of the camera. Many parents feel the same way! But don’t worry my sessions are all about fun and connection, not stiff poses. You’ll be playing and spending quality time with your family, and you might even forget I’m there! I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve and years of experience to keep things natural and stress free. I’m all about capturing their personality and quirks in those candid, timeless moments. Just make sure they’ve had a nap and a snack before we start!
Absolutely! I adore pets and would love to include them in your session. We can discuss the best location that allows pets once we’ve booked. Props are always welcome, feel free to bring anything that makes you and your family feel comfortable and shows off your personality.
I recommend booking your maternity session around the seventh or eighth month (about 30 weeks). This is when your bump will be beautifully round, and you’ll still feel comfortable moving around. If you’re planning to use the images for a baby shower invitation, around 28 weeks is also a great time. It’s best to plan ahead since about one in five mummas I've worked with have gone into labor before their due date.

Post-Session Information

You’ll get a little sneak peek within the first few days, and your full gallery of images will be in your inbox within two weeks. I hope these photos bring you joy every day, whether you’re sharing them, printing them, or displaying them at home.
You’ll receive a personalised PicTime link, which is an online photo delivery service where you can view and download your entire gallery. If you’d like to print your images in a larger size, just let me know, and I can adjust the dimensions and resolution for you.
I take great care in editing your photos to ensure you look and feel your best. If there’s something you’d like to tweak after receiving your images, I’m happy to help with that! However, I believe in maintaining a natural look, so I avoid over-editing or making unrealistic changes.
Absolutely! I’m passionate about prints and believe there’s something special about having your images displayed on your walls. Once you’ve chosen your favourite photos from our session, I can provide a quote for prints. I offer loose prints, frames, albums, and more. The most popular choice is the photo book, which is a fine art album that’s perfect for preserving your memories for years to come.

Policies and Legalities

To confirm our session, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your spot. You can reschedule up to two times, as long as it’s at least five days before the session date. There’s a small fee of $65 to change the date.
Yes, after confirming our session, I’ll send you a package with all the important information, including a contract that needs to be signed. There will also be an option at the end of the contract for you to give permission for me to share your images on my social media (Facebook, Instagram, for advertising purposes).
Of course! I’d be thrilled if you shared your photos on social media. It would mean the world to me if you could tag my Instagram @thelovelensbyvalentina and my Facebook too.
Unfortunately I don’t offer refunds, but I’m committed to working with you to ensure you’re thrilled with the results. I offer up to three revisions before we close the session. More details about my refund policy are in the contract, and I’m always here if you have any questions!
I completely understand the concern about unpredictable Melbourne weather. If it looks like it’s going to be too rainy or stormy, we’ll simply reschedule to a different time. I keep a close eye on the weather, so you can trust that I’ll make sure our session is a beautiful and a memorable experience.
